UPDATE: Not only is the Denver Democrat Party Chair a foreclosure attorney, but her law firm is a veritable foreclosure factory.

Per The Denver Post:

Castle Stawiarski files the most foreclosure cases each year in many large counties, according to figures provided by the trustees. In Arapahoe County, which had 5,500 foreclosures filed in 2010 – the most statewide – Castle accounted for 52 percent. In Denver it was 49 percent. In smaller Park County, Castle accounted for 90 percent of the caseload.

President Obama's re-election campaign has resorted to trying to intimidate Romney campaign donors by publicly attacking them and their professions. The problem with that underhanded line of attack is Obama and Democrats are living in a glass house when it comes to wealthy patrons (see Corzine, Jon) and the professions of their supporters.

Reports the Wall Street Journal's Kim Strassel:

This past week, one of his campaign websites posted an item entitled "Behind the curtain: A brief history of Romney's donors." In the post, the Obama campaign named and shamed eight private citizens who had donated to his opponent. Describing the givers as all having "less-than-reputable records," the post went on to make the extraordinary accusations that "quite a few" have also been "on the wrong side of the law" and profiting at "the expense of so many Americans."

These are people like Paul Schorr and Sam and Jeffrey Fox, investors who the site outed for the crime of having "outsourced" jobs. T. Martin Fiorentino is scored for his work for a firm that forecloses on homes. [Peak emphasis]

Well, if the Obama campaign is going to come out swinging against private citizens working in home foreclosures, they might want to send out a follow up press release slamming Denver Democrat Party Chairwoman and former HD8 candidate Cindy Lowery-Graber, who is a lawyer specializing in foreclosures and collections, according to the legal directory Martindale-Hubbell

If working in home foreclosure earns you a public rebuke from the President's re-election campaign, are we to assume the President's re-election campaign would be opposed to a foreclosure lawyer leading the President's party in the capitol of a pivotal swing state?

We also wonder to what degree Ms. Lowery-Graber supports the platform of the county party she leads. The 4th item on the Denver Democrats' platform reads:

We support foreclosure reform that would help prevent home foreclosures, help stabilize the housing market, and keep people in their homes.

Are the good folks at her law firm in support of foreclosure reform? Or might they be opposed as foreclosure reform could harm their business interests?

What we really want to know is does the Obama campaign in Colorado find Cindy Lowery-Graber's profession to be "less-than-reputable"?
